Memory Strategies for Doctor Visits and Life After 🧠 Injury and Any Illness or Injury

I wanted to share this since I just finished it. I have a psych appointment tomorrow and it’s been since July 1. However, at every appointment she asks me what I have been up to and while I’m zoom or in person and I have to take time to look through my calendar to tell her. So today I took 30-45 minutes to go through my calendar and journal notes to write it all down and be able to relay it all to her from that sheet. Not all is detailed, but at least a short couple of words to jog my memory and relay it to her. If you have memory issues or a brain Injury I highly recommend it. I also journal daily and will post what that looks like, they are things I can look back on and see what worked, didn’t work, what not to do again or to do differently. Both are very helpful strategies to help me be more efficient. Just wanted to share what works for me.

Notes for my psych appointment tomorrow. Plan ahead and be prepared to not waste time during a 50 minute visit.

This is great. Thanks for sharing it on the zoom call. I am thinking of using a modified version for myself. Previously, I used a headache log, but this is may help me track my fatigue and spikes in headaches better.
