I was reached out to by Love What Matters on Instagram to see if I would write my story to share. So I did just that and this is it. This is my personal writing that Rebecca with Love What Matters edited. I appreciate the opportunity to share my story. Check it out and the other great stories on their website. And a few parts I wrote were taken out that were super important. Like the PCP sent me to the urgent care. The urgent care does not see infants. Time was critical and we spent 2-3 hours there. But then I worked in the ER and realized how critical time is like for stroke, brain, heart and in my sons case. So don’t always trust that your getting the right info from a provider. The ER of course is not where you need to be for minor things, coughs and fevers, but there are some things a urgent care can’t help with but they also can’t refuse you.
